Description
The AIM-LBe 800 V is a high-efficiency axial flux in-runner motor designed for applications where power density, compact size, and reliability are critical. Built for demanding environments, it combines cutting-edge electromagnetic design with IP67 protection and a modular mechanical interface for a wide range of traction or industrial uses.
Performance and Design
The AIM-LBe delivers up to 170 kW peak and 120 kW continuous power, achieving a peak torque of 390 Nm across a speed range of 0–5 000 RPM. Its 98.2 % peak efficiency ensures minimal losses even under high-load operation.
The motor’s lightweight construction results in 13.71 kW/kg power density, positioning it among the most efficient axial flux designs available.
Electrical and Thermal Specifications
Optimized for 800 V DC systems, the AIM-LBe features:
-
Kv: 7.97 RPM/V
-
Kt: 1.20 Nm/Arms
-
Phase resistance (20 °C): 16.53 mΩ
-
Inductance: 173.33 µH
-
Peak current: 334 Arms
-
